چکیده

There have been several difficulties with mesh-reinforced lining constructions because to the complex tunnelling circumstances and varying technical requirements. Thereafter, steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) is promoted as a trustworthy replacement for linings. In this study, we take look at components typical characteristics of SFRC. Cracks or structural failures in linings are summarized, contemporary field discussed. Tunnel made from SFRC discussed, along benefits doing so. addition, performance tunnel applications reviewed, various design considerations practical instances. The evaluation found that had favourable impact on limiting rock movement, decreasing pressure, ensuring both global local support structure integrity. study provides useful information advancing use

Strength and Permeability Characteristics of Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete

The results reported in this paper are the part of an extensive laboratory investigation undertaken to study the effects of fibre parameters on the permeability and strength characteristics of steel fibre reinforced concrete (SFRC). The effect of varying fibre content and curing age on the water permeability, compressive and split tensile strengths of SFRC was investigated using straight steel ...

Strength Development and Water Permeability of Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete

Research reported in this paper was carried to study the water permeability of steel fibre reinforced concrete (SFRC) with varied aspect ratios of steel fibres. Corrugated steel fibres were used in the investigation at constant fibre content of 0.5%. Relationship of water permeability with compressive strength and split tensile strengths has been presented. The water permeability was observed t...

Lowering the global warming impact of bridge rehabilitations by using Ultra High Performance Fibre Reinforced Concretes

Ultra-High Performance Fibre Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC) is charact erized by a unique combination of extremely low permeability, high strength and deformability. Extensive R&D works and applications over the last 10 years have demonstrated that cast on site UHPFRC is a fast, efficient and price competitive method for the repair/re habilitation of existing structures. More recently, an origina...

Punching shear strength of steel fibre reinforced concrete slabs

The ultimate strength of reinforced concrete slabs is frequently governed by the punching shear capacity, which may be increased with addition of traditional fitments such as reinforcing steel, headed studs or shear heads. In addition to these traditional methods of strengthening against punching, steel fibre reinforcement has proved to be an effective and viable alternative. The addition of fi...
